Iperplasia prostatica benigna, IPB o BPH

Hypertrophy or benign prostatic hyperplasia. An increase in the volume of the prostate generally observed after the age of 50, of unknown etiology but dependent on the action of androgens. It can cause symptoms of urinary obstruction.
Diagnosis is based on examination, transrectal ultrasound, and PSA measurement.
Therapy: there are 4 most commonly used therapies

TURP: Transurethral Endoscopic Resection of the Prostate
Rezum: Prostate Vaporization
Aquabeam: Robotic Prostate Aquablation
GreenLight: Laser Vaporization of the Prostate

Being able to perform all techniques, it will be my duty to recommend the best and most suitable one for each patient based on their needs and the characteristics of their prostate.
